Air Tech OfficeAir Tech is a family-owned business that’s been serving customers in the New River Valley for over 15 years.  During that time we’ve gained a reputation for our low prices (check out our best price guarantee) and friendly, personal service. 

From humble beginnings (starting with a single service van and two customers in 2002), we’ve grown steadily over the years and now serve hundreds of residential and commercial customers in the area. 

Our steady growth has come almost entirely from word-of-mouth references from our satisfied customers who appreciate our honesty, dependability, and integrity.

About Air Tech Founder Lee Brown

Lee BrownAlthough Air Tech owner Lee Brown started the company in 2002, he was considering a career path as an entrepreneur long before that.  As a teenager, he helped out with his uncle’s business building fences and barns on farms in the area.  He saw how much pride they took in their work, and how seriously they took commitments they made to their customers. 

He knew at the time that he wanted to have his own business, but he didn’t yet know what type of business it would be.  Eventually, he was introduced to the heating and air business by another uncle, and worked with that uncle’s business for a short time learning the ins and outs of the trade. 

Eventually, he became confident enough that he made the frightening decision to start his own company.  He sold his truck to buy a company van, lined up two paying customers, and with only $5,000 in the bank he made the leap into entrepreneurship. 

Soon, two customers turned into five, five turned into ten, and ten turned into fifty…and it was all thanks to simply being honest and fair in his dealings with customers, and relying on their referrals to grow the business. 

As the customer list grew, Lee was able to bring on his son Logan as a full time technician, and later his wife Chasity left her position at Pathway Christian Academy to become the full-time office manager for Air Tech, making it a true family business.

Today, Air Tech employs several full-time and part-time technicians and serves over 400 customers in the New River Valley region.
